We had a great fortnight with our two work experience students Fallibroome Academy.

Lydia and Ryan impressed us so much with their enthusiasm for the design project that we set for them to do, based on one of our own residential projects that are currently on site. 

They developed ideas and explored options using different architectural techniques including sketching, 3D modelling and rendering.

Throughout the fortnight, we took turns showing the students the variety of careers that we have had in architecture. We each delivered a presentation to them, either taking a trip down memory lane to tell them about our career paths, or other subjects close to our hearts, such as Alexandra Hawkins shown here presenting Passivhaus principles.

At the end of the fortnight placement, they presented their designs to us. Afterwards, we showed them how we approached the same project. We ended the week on-site where the actual project is being built.
